Kyle McKeveny
Kyle McKeveny grew up in Endicott, NY and has always had a strong interest in local history and storytelling. After graduating from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, he relocated to New York City and began working with independent film production companies. It was here that his interest in filmmaking began to take shape, as he served as an Associate Producer for the documentary,YOU THINK YOU REALLY KNOW ME: THE GARY WILSON STORY about Endicott musician Gary Wilson. Since then, Kyle has worked on two short narrative films, FLOYD AND THE STRAIGHT EDGE and DASH, and a number of documentary shorts. A few years ago, Kyle saw his first painting of Masty Huba in a bar room in Binghamton and has been working towards making this documentary ever since. Kyle currently splits his time between Binghamton and Brooklyn, where he DJ’s 60’s rock and roll and contemplates his next move.
